Our story
Founded by three engineers working at a major bank during the early part of the 21'st century, Stiona Software has grown from humble beginnings.
Providing digital services for the public and private sector literally used by millions - the Northern Ireland Shop Local covid scheme received over 1.2 million applications on the first day.
Along the way we built Klubfunder, the platform for fundraising and payments.
The digital transaction toolkit
To allow us to rapidly deliver secure business services we focussed our efforts on re-use. Our services are built on the digital transaction toolkit.
The digital transaction toolkit a Common Core Infrastructure of Shared Digital System, Technology and Processes for Government and Private Sector.
The toolkit provides a set of microservices for authentication, authorisation, notification, form design, secure messaging, case management to name but a few.
Using the toolkit, our team are then able to build no code, low code off the shelf or bespoke solutions.
Security and ISO 27001
With background in corporate, retain and merchant banking, we were no stranger to security.
Stringent and frequent penetration testing of our services by Check qualified consultants has hardened our technology.
But its more than just technology.
We demonstrate our commitment to security in all we do by certifying to ISO27001, the international standard for Information Security Management Systems. We have been certified since 2015.
